Abstract: |
Visualization is a process of transformation of large and complex abstract forms of information into visual form, strengthening user's cognitive abilities and allowing them to take the most optimal decisions. Graphs are the most common abstract structure encountered in computer science and are widely used for abstract information representation. Any system that consists of discrete states (or sites) and connections between them can be modeled by a graph.
Methods and tools for graph visualization are widely used in many applications, such as system and applied programming, biology, chemistry, artificial intellect, analysis of financial information, sociology and many others.
In the paper, a survey on main existent methods of information visualization on the base of graph models is given. |
