Abstract: |
The problem of synthesis of photorealistic quality images in real time is considered. Free forms synthesized by means of perturbation functions are proposed. The free forms based on the analytical perturbation functions have an advantage of spline representation of surfaces, that is, a high degree of smoothness, and an advantage of arbitrary form for a small number of perturbation functions. A new method is offered for rendering function-based models with perturbation functions using GPU-accelerated binary adaptive ray casting. The possibility of using perturbation functions to animate the surfaces of three-dimensional objects in real time is considered as well. |
